Fortnite Tracker Launches Custom UEFN Map Leaderboards

Fortnite players can now track competitive stats and climb leaderboards across custom UEFN creator maps for the very first time.

A New Era for Custom Maps

Fortnite isn’t just a battle royale anymore. It is a sprawling digital amusement park where millions of players spend their time racing cars, shooting zombies, and fighting in custom arenas built by other users. But there was always one major problem. Your achievements in these custom worlds vanished the second you returned to the main lobby. There was no way to prove you were the best player on your favorite custom map.

That changes today. Tracker Network, the team behind the popular Fortnite Tracker website, has officially launched a dedicated integration for Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN). For the first time, players can track their stats, compare performances, and climb global leaderboards across custom-built creator maps.

How the New Stats Integration Works

This isn’t a passive update that automatically tracks every single map in the game. It requires some setup from the map creators themselves. To enable tracking, developers must integrate the Tracker Network SDK directly into their UEFN projects. Once set up, the map begins feeding real-time gameplay data directly to the Fortnite Tracker platform.

When players search their Epic Games username on the site, they will now find a brand-new UEFN tab. The metrics shown there depend entirely on what the map creator wants to measure. It goes far beyond standard kills and deaths. Depending on the map, leaderboards can track total wins, high scores, speedrun times, or even specific objectives completed. If a map creator designs a highly difficult parkour course, they can now show a global leaderboard of who finished it the fastest.

Bridging the Gap for Creators and Sweats

Epic Games launched UEFN in early 2023, giving creators professional-grade tools to build entirely new games inside Fortnite. While the tools were revolutionary, the lack of persistent, out-of-game stats left many competitive players feeling left out. Casual modes are fun, but Fortnite’s player base loves to sweat.

This new system changes the dynamic entirely. It gives competitive players a real reason to grind custom maps. It also helps map creators. The Fortnite creator economy is brutal, and keeping players coming back is incredibly difficult. Epic pays creators based on player engagement. If a player knows they are only three wins away from taking the number-one spot on a global leaderboard, they are going to keep playing.

Looking Ahead

Tracker Network has already partnered with several prominent map creators to launch this feature, with plans to onboard many more in the coming weeks. The update is live right now. Players can log onto Fortnite Tracker, look up their profiles, and see how they stack up against the rest of the world on supported custom maps. The casual era of creative mode is officially over.
